PET PHOTOGRAPHY

I've been professionally photographing pets and their families since 1992. If you'd like a quality portrait that will last a lifetime, then give me a call. I can arrange to photograph on location or in-studio. I work with your ideas and offer mine as well. You'll be able to choose as many pictures in the quantity and size you want them in. In addition to people and pet portraits, commercial photography has also been an interest of mine. My articles and photos are on the covers and pages of Dogs For Kids 2005, and Ferrets 2002 until present.
Of course, credit needs to be given to the talents of Jesse and Casey,
our beautiful standard poodles, Molly and Charlie, our lovable ferrets
and my photography assistant, Sam. She would have appeared off to the
right or left of nearly every ferret photo! I believe Casey and Jesse truly loved being photographed. Upon entering the studio, they would accompany me and position themselves in the subject area, without being coerced with treats, and just look at me, waiting for direction. If I didn't take some photographs of them, or at least fake it, they would really let me know that they were very disappointed with me!

DO YOU HAVE ALLERGIES TO PET DANDER?
Are you sneezing and coughing because of your pet(s)? Do you have trouble with itchy eyes and a runny nose? You may have allergies. One contributor could be your pet's dander, among other things. Many people are finding relief with the use of an air purifier. One of our family members has serious allergies. That's one reason why I sought out air purification in the first place. The other was because of a mold issue. First hand experience has me sold on this particular brand 'Fresh Air'.
I have a couple running in my home because I got addicted to the smell of fresh air inside . From my personal experience, I've found that these power house machines perform effortlessly when dealing with animal dander and pet odors, strong cooking odors, raw pet food odors, onion, garlic, smoke, garbage smells, mold, mildew, and a plethora of others. If for some reason our electricity goes out, and they haven't been running for awhile, I can really notice the difference. There's also been research done regarding their ability to work on surface contaminants too. Ask for details on this.

Flint River Ranch is a high quality kibble and was (still is), recommended by my pets veterinarian. It was what my boys ate before I transitioned them to their raw diet and they gobbled it up.

WHO SAYS IT CAN'T BE EASY BEING GREEN?
Here are three solutions right off the bat.
"Perfect Litter" cat litter is phenomenal. I've used it and love it!
You flush the kitty doo-doo down the toilet, so no more plastic bags or
adding to landfills, but also it doesn't smell! I always smelled the litter
before, but not with Perfect Litter. It's absolutely awesome
at controlling the odor. And it's non-toxic. No licking perfumes or whatever else off of their little kitty paws. And it has an alert indicator to give you an early warning if your cat develops a urinary tract infection. Check this out!

Want to be more environmentally friendly in disposing of your dog's waste? Of course there are always the bio-degradable doggie bags when you're on the road that are sold in most pet stores. However, have you ever considered installing something in your back yard to cut down on those bags too? I always used seat belts for my dogs when they traveled in the car, and I highly recommend them.
Did you know that for insurance purposes, your pet must be restrained by leash or crate during transport.
Please have something available for me in the event that I would have to transport your pet.
I do have 2 large seat belts available (dogs around 75# or so). You can find them at some of the links provided below or other common pet stores in your area.
If you get one that fits properly, they don't seem to mind it one bit. The one time I did not fasten Jesse into his seat belt, I had to slam on the brakes and he went flying into the back of the front seat. After that, even on a 5 minute ride, I'd take the few seconds that it took to fasten his belt.

A word of caution about about cat harnesses. Follow the instructions on getting your kitty used to being on a lead...especially if they were an outside cat to begin with!
